Our Role

Principal at Fortis was involved in relaunching and turning around the company then served as President and CFO.

  • Raised over $12MM of capital
  • Eliminated > $2MM of liabilities off of the balance sheet
  • Instituted monthly closing process, board package, KPIs, and reporting to LPs
  • Initiated complete HR, onboarding, asset tracking, benefits, and payroll process for ~ 40 employees
  • Updated Cap Table, employee options agreements, convertible notes for investors, and 409A valuations via Carta
  • Hired FT Partners as company banker to run a capital raise
  • Led a process with FINRA to apply for and acquire a Broker Dealer (BD) for Alternative Trading Systems (ATS) to trade Digital Assets (2022)
